September 27, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st half of this year, the reinsurance premiums in Azerbaijan decreased by 10% or 6 million manats against Jan-Jun 2023 to 57 million manats.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the CBA Financial Stability Report for the 1st half of 2024.

According to the document, the share of reinsurance contributions in insurance premiums for Jan-Jun made up 8%.

5% of reinsurance premiums, or 3 million manats account for life insurance, and 95%, or 54 million manats for non–state life insurance.

The reinsurance premiums on life insurance make up 1% of accumulated insurance premiums in this segment, and the reinsurance premiums on non-life insurance - 17% of accumulated insurance premiums in this segment.
