September 27, Fineko/abc.az. To date, about 17.5 billion rubles have been spent on construction and restoration work in the territories, liberated from occupation, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Azerbaijani Finance Minister Samir Sharifov.
The minister stressed that by the end of this year it is planned to increase this figure up to 19 billion manats.
"It will depend on the work of the executive organizations. In principle, things are going well. Funds are allocated from the State Budget. The Great Return is one of the main priorities of our country. Measures are being taken in this direction," he added.
Azerbaijani PM Ali Asadov said that starting from 2020, including 2024, about 17.5 billion manats have been allocated for restoration and construction purposes on the occupaiton-liberated lands. He said about this, when delivering speech in the Cabinet of Ministers at the discussion of the draft state budget and consolidated budget for 2025, as well as indicators of the consolidated budget for the next three years, the concept of economic and social development and forecast indicators for 2025 and the next three years.
He mentioned that in 2025 it is planned to allocate finances in the amount of 4 billion manats.
According to a report published by the Ministry of Finance, in 2025, 4 billion manats, or 10.1% of State Budget expenditures will account for expenses relating to construction and restoration work in the occupation-liberated territories.
This is 17.6% less than the approved forecast for 2024.
