September 27, Fineko/abc.az. Transit transportation is one of the main areas of cooperation between Azerbaijan and China.

ABC.AZ reports that Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev said this at an event dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

He noted that large-scale transport infrastructure projects have been implemented in Azerbaijan to increase transit potential.

“The transport corridors passing through our country, the Baku International Trade Sea Port, the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway and other projects form the shortest and most efficient routes for the supply of goods from China to Europe and back. As a result, Azerbaijan has become the main transport hub of the region,” Mustafayev said.
