September 26, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank has released the indicators in the banking sector.

ABC.AZ reports that the share of overdue loans in the total loan portfolio (including non-commercial organizations and credit unions) decreased by 0.7 percentage points compared with the 2023 same term and made up 1.7%.

Over Jan-Aug 2024, banks received net profit of 772.3 million manats, 1148.2 million manats, and an operating profit of 1.148 billion manats.

This is 6.6% and 7.9%, respectively, more against Jan-Aug 2023).

During the 8 months of this year, banks paid income tax for 175.1 million manats in total.
