September 20, Fineko/abc.az. More than 35 million manats have been invested in the Aghdam Industrial Park, and more than 400 permanent jobs created, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Elchin Kazimov, the press secretary of the Economic Zones Development Agency.

He added that the launch of new enterprises in the industrial park, which President Ilham Aliyev attended, will give an impetus to development of the non-oil sector in the country and expand the geography of exports:

"The other day we witnessed one of the most significant events in the history of the country. In the presence of the head of state, the opening ceremony of six industrial enterprises was held in the Aghdam Industrial Park. With their opening, the number of enterprises operating in industrial zones of the country has increased up to 79. The launch of new enterprises will give an impetus to development of country’s non-oil sector, expand geography of exports, accelerate economic diversification, make an important contribution to increasing employment, and most importantly, help the revival of Karabakh.”
