August 30, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank has issued a license to GoldenPay OJSC for the right to operate as an electronic money organization.

According to ABC.AZ, citing the Central Bank, in accordance with the law "On Payment Services and Payment Systems," an assessment is being conducted of organizations that have applied to the Central Bank for a license to provide payment services.

As part of the work in this direction, by the Decision of the Board of the Central Bank dated July 17, 2024, GoldenPay OJSC was granted a permanent license for the right to operate as an electronic money organization.

"The assessment of other organizations that have applied to the Central Bank for a license to provide payment services is currently ongoing," the statement says.
