August 30, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan discussed attracting foreign investments to the country's green energy sector with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), ABC.AZ informs, citing the Ministry of Economy.

The discussions were held between Deputy Minister of Economy Anar Akhundov and Joonho Hwang, the Director, Energy Division, Central and West Asia Department (CWRD) of the ADB.

At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the successful partnership between Azerbaijan and the bank, and the bank's activities in the country were highly appreciated.

The parties exchanged views on the expansion of renewable energy sources, the ADB’s potential support for infrastructure development and financing to ensure the sustainability and efficiency of Azerbaijan's energy system.
