August 29, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) held a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

According to the CBA's statement, at the currency auction on August 29, the demand from banks amounted to $80.4 million and was fully met. This is $4.6 million (6%) more than at the previous auction.

At the currency auction on August 27, the CBA sold $75.8 million to banks.

As a result of the currency auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat was formed at the level of 1.7000 AZN/USD.
