August 27, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's Karabakh economic region has demonstrated the most impressive lending dynamics in the country in 2024, according to the latest data from the Central Bank.

ABC.AZ reports that as of July 1, 2024, the volume of loans issued in the Karabakh economic region amounted to a substantial 456,441 thousand manats, marking a significant increase from the 404,983 thousand manats recorded at the beginning of the year.

This remarkable growth translates to a 51,459 thousand manat or 13% increase in the region's credit portfolio since the start of the year, outpacing the national average growth rate of 11%. The majority of the loans in Karabakh were issued in manats, totaling 455,627 thousand manats with an average interest rate of 18.87%.
