August 27, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), with participation from the State Oil Fund. held its latest currency auction.

According to the CBA's announcement, the banks' demand at the auction totaled $75.8 million, which was fully met by the central bank.

This figure represents a minor decrease of $0.4 million (0.5%) compared to the previous auction held on August 22, where the CBA sold $76.2 million to the participating banks.

Following the auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the Azerbaijani manat settled at 1.7000 AZN/USD.
