August 23, Fineko/abc.az. In the first half of this year, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) conducted 18 inspections and 47 control measures.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the CBA that over 6 months, the Central Bank applied 135,609 manats in fines and financial sanctions to the financial sector.

During the reporting period, the CBA took measures to cancel, suspend or restrict 37 licenses in the financial sector. Thus, over 6 months, insurance agent licenses of 28 individuals and 2 legal entities were suspended, and insurance agent licenses of 6 individuals and 1 exclusive legal entity were revoked.
