August 17, Fineko/abc.az. The price of Azerbaijan's oil Azeri Light on the world market increased by $0.93 (1.30%).

Cost of oil grade Azeri Light is now $72.61 a barrel.

The lowest price of Azeri Light was fixed in December 2001 - $19.15 and highest price in July 2008 - $149.66.

At the New York Merchant Exchange (NYMEX) following the trading on 16 August the value of September’s futures of oil grade WTI, compared increased by $0.45 (0.69%) up to $65.46 a barrel.

At the London ICE (InterContinental Exchange Futures) following the trading on 16 August the cost of October’s futures of oil grade of Brent crude increased by $0.67 (0.95%) up to $71.43 a barrel.

The price gap between Brent and WTI following trading on 16 August is $5.97 on a barrel.
