Oil price goes up, and Brent - $79.93 a barrel

July 31, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are increasing in Wednesday’s trading after decline at the end of the last session.

The price of Brent crude futures for September on the ICE Futures exchange rose by $1.30 (1.65%) to $79.93 per barrel by 09:25. Following the trading on July 30, September’s Brent crude futures fell by $1.15 (1.44%) to $78.63 per barrel.

The circulation period on September’s Brent futures exchange ends on Wednesday. The more actively traded October contracts are getting more expensive during trading by $1.30 (1.67%), up to $79.37 per barrel.

The price of September’s WTI oil futures on the NYMEX commodity exchange rose by $1.33 (1.78%) to $76.06 per barrel by 09:25. Following the trading on July 30, WTI oil futures for September decreased in price by $1.08 (1.42%) to $74.73 per barrel.
