Banks paid 124.1 million manats of income tax for past 6 months

July 23, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jun 2024, Azerbaijani banks generated net profit of 614 million manats and operating profit of 875.5 million manats.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that for Jan-Jun 2023, banks received 563.3 million manats of net profit and 772.3 million manats of operating profit.

For the past months of this year, the banks paid income tax for 124.1 million manats.

The overall revenues of the banks amounted to 2.76 billion manats against Jan-Jun 2023 - 2.267 billion manats.
