In May, banks' net domestic assets grew by 5.6%

July 5, Fineko/abc.az. As of June 1, 2024, the net foreign assets of Azerbaijani banks amounted to 24.573 bn manats.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan that the figure is 5.7% less in monthly comparison, 2.5% less against the beginning of 2024 and 9.5% more than on June 1, 2023.

As of June 1, 2024, the net domestic assets of banks totaled 20.274 bn mantas. The indicator is 5.6% more than at the end of April, 2.1% more than in early 2024 and 7.2% more year-on-year.
