July 5, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2024, our country exported 54 tons of iodine for $3.64 million, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee.

Compared with Jan-Apr 2023, Azerbaijan’s iodine exports decreased in value terms by $1.566 million or 33.8% and in quantitative terms by 10 tons or 15.3%.

In the first 4 months of 2023, country’s exports totaled 63 tons of iodine for $4.629 million.

The average export price of 1 kg of iodine for Jan-Apr 2024 amounted to 97.12 manats (annual decline of 27.21 manats or 21.9% versus Jan-Apr 2023 - 124.33 manats).
