July 3, Fineko/abc.az. The European Union Commission has issued a statement in connection with the 6th package approved as part of the Economic & Investment Plan for the Western Balkans.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement stressed that this package will attract investments in the amount of €1.2 billion for the Western Balkans.

It is noted that this package will support new investments in the field of water supply, sewerage, wastewater treatment and rail transport, as well as innovations and green transformations in small and medium-sized enterprises.

The statement says that investments will be made in close cooperation with partners from the Western Balkans and international financial institutions.
