July 2, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan significantly increased its natural gas exports to Türkiye in April 2024 (a rise of 12.02% versus April 2023), ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Turkish Energy Markets Regulatory Authority (EPDK).

Exports reached 1.001 bcm compared with 893.36 million cu m for April 2023.

Thus, Azerbaijan became the largest exporter of natural gas to Türkiye for the reported term.

Iran is in 2nd place with exports of about 543.99 million cu m of gas. This figure has significantly decreased by 37.25% compared with April 2023.

Russia became the third country in terms of natural gas exports to Türkiye. Russia exported 413.24 million cu m of natural gas to Türkiye (76.01% less against April 2023 - 1.524 bcm).
