July 1, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st quarter of 2024, SOCAR Ukraine, the subsidiary of the Azerbaijan State Oil Company (SOCAR) in Ukraine, became the highest paid fuel sales company.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in a study on the definition of the shadow share and its dynamics in excisable goods, conducted by experts from the Ukrainian Institute of Socio-Economic Transformations (ISET), the CASE analytical center and the Economic Expert Platform.

SOCAR Ukraine was also the second company to pay the most taxes on its employees.

In three quarters of last year, SOCAR Ukraine was the company that paid the most taxes on fuel sales, and in two quarters it was the leader among the companies that paid the most taxes on their employees.
