July 1, Fineko/abc.az. The data has been unveiled on the premiums and compensation payments on voluntary property insurance in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that for Jan-May 2024, the premiums on this type of insurance amounted to 70.645 million mantas (4.46 million manats, or 7% more versus Jan-May 2023 – 66.183 million mantas).

Compensations on this type of insurance were paid for 13.266 million mantas (3.35 million manats or 30% more against Jan-May 2023 – 10.2 million mantas).

And the loss rate was 19% for Jan-May 2024 (a rise of 4% against the 2023 same term - 15%).
