In 2023, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) accounted for 5.676 bn manats acquired by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), ABC.AZ reports with reference to SOCAR's consolidated financial statements for 2023, prepared by reputable international auditing company Ernst & Young Holdings (CIS) B.V.
According to the document, the figure is 3-fold more versus 2022.
In addition, last year Switzerland accounted for 58.649 bn manats of SOCAR (24.5% less than in 2022).
Last year, SOCAR received income of 8.795 bn from its assets in Türkiye (2.75-fold less against 2022).
According to the document, SOCAR's revenues in Georgia amounted to 1.559 bn manats, and in other countries – 2.289 bn manats. Compared with 2022, SOCAR's revenues in Georgia decreased by 4.23%, while revenues in other countries by 18.8%.
Last year, SOCAR's revenues in the country reached 8.2 bn mantas (34.5% less than in 2022).
In 2023, revenues from SOCAR assets totaled 85.2 bn manats (39.9% less than a year earlier).
