June 27, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan can play the role of a hub for startups. We can present very attractive investment projects. We need to attract more investments and ideas.

ABC.AZ reports that Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said this at the Baku Investment Day festival.

Jabbarov also stressed that Azerbaijan is currently becoming the leader of the region in the field of green energy: "This is linked with liberation of the occupied territories of Azerbaijan and the new context in the region [turning the region into a green zone]."

"This is the first time that the South Caucasus can cooperate. The COP29 process has shown that we are able to work together. I think Azerbaijan is a natural bridge between the South Caucasus and Central Asia. Currently, a number of major green energy projects are also being implemented in the occupation-liberated territories of Azerbaijan. A range of works are also underway to solve the problems of the Caspian Sea. All this accelerates our country's transition to green energy," Jabbarov added.
