June 27, Fineko/abc.az. This May, the volume of non-cash transactions within the country grew 1.6-fold versus May 2023, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the CBA.

In May, the volume of non-cash payments within the country made with use of cards reached 6.259 million manats.

E-commerce accounts for 5.245 bn manats of non-cash payments. Of the remaining amount, 1.003 bn manats were sold through POS-terminals, and 9 million manats through self-service terminals.

Since the beginning of the year, the volume of non-cash domestic transactions with payment cards has made up 62.2% of card transactions within the country.
