June 13, Fineko/abc.az. Inflation in Europe may temporarily accelerate again.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that Madis Muller, a member of board of the European Central Bank (ECB) and chairman of the Central Bank of Estonia, said about this.

He noted that the ECB has not yet reached the 2% inflation target.

Muller added that the probability of repeat acceleration of inflation in the eurozone is very high.

Muller, on the other hand, said that in order to achieve the inflation target, interest rates would have to remain above average for some time.
