June 13, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), with the participation of the State Oil Fund, held a currency auction.
According to the CBA, at the foreign exchange auction on June 13, the demand of banks amounted to $75.1 million and was fully secured. This is $10.6 million (16.43%) more than at the last auction.
At a foreign exchange auction on June 11, the CBA sold $64.5 million to banks.
As a result of the auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat was formed at the level of 1.7000 AZN/USD.
