$1.5 bn of foreign direct investments made in Azerbaijan

June 12, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st quarter of this year, a total of $1.5 bn of foreign direct investments was made in the oil/gas and non-oil/gas sector of Azerbaijan. 

ABC.AZ reports that Samir Nasirov, the director of the Statistics Department of the Central Bank, said about this at today’s briefing.

In addition, he noted that for Jan-Mar, $1.5 bn of foreign direct investments was made in the Azerbaijani economy, and the repatriation of Azerbaijan's direct investments to foreign countries - $1.9 bn.
