June 7, Fineko/abc.az. Accounts Chamber’s chairman spoke about growth of accounts receivable. Speech here is about finances paid in advance.

ABC.AZ reports that this opinion was expressed by Finance Minister Samir Sharifov at the first plenary session of the extraordinary session of parliament.

"These are prepaid amounts to contractors. These amounts are taken into account by employees of the State Treasury when making these payments, and the advance amounts decrease as certain works are completed. 62% of the advances made during 2023 include the amounts of advances made in previous years. The key point in this is that by the end of 2023, accounts receivable increased to 4.437 bn manats. 78.8% of the advances are made by law enforcement agencies. This is also understandable. These organizations must conclude long-term contracts for the purchase and production of certain products," the minister said.
