June 7, Fineko/abc.az. During the revision, budget expenditures in the amount of 852 million manats will be optimized, financial support for investment-oriented infrastructure projects, subsidizing suburban passenger transportation, etc. will be created.

ABC.AZ reports that Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said this at today's meeting of Milli Majlis.

According to the minister, reasonable costs will increase by 3.307 bn manats compared with the current budget.

Sharifov said that the size of the consolidated budget deficit will be reduced compared with the approved budget, and the budget of the Unemployment Insurance Fund will remain at the approved level: "It is planned to increase the budget of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic more than by 22%, the amount of subsidies for Nakhchivan from the State Budget will be reduced."

The minister added that the main purpose of the changes in the budget package is to create additional financial support to address issues identified by the President at the expense of the country's growing revenues.
