June 6, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), with the participation of the State Oil Fund, held a currency auction.

According to the CBA, at the foreign exchange auction on June 6, the demand of banks amounted to $97.5 million and was fully secured. This is $24.7 million (34%) more than at the last auction.

At a foreign exchange auction on June 4, the Central Bank sold $72.8 million to banks.

As a result of the auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat was formed at the level of 1.7000 AZN/USD.
