May 30, Fineko/abc.az. Chinese company Alibaba has tightened conditions for customers from Russia.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Russian press that the company no longer accepts payments in rubles and does not register parcels to Russia.

The changes began on May 28, and now the company does not accept cards from Russian banks at all, with exception of several banks. As for pre-orders, the company also reimburses these fees.

Unlike in Russia, Alibaba's sales to Belarus and Central Asian countries continue as usual.

Experts note that Alibaba's new rules regarding Russia will seriously affect the state of trade in this country.

So far, the Chinese company has been a source of sales of goods not only to individual customers, but also to large companies, including the wholesale network. In Russia, about 10,000 people used this trade.

Experts say that in this case, Russian business should find ways to circumvent this ban. One of them is to order goods from Alibaba using cards from other countries. This applies to Kazakh, Kyrgyz and other cards. Moreover, the imported goods will also need to be purchased through another country. And this will lead to lengthening of the road and a rise in the price of goods.
