May 15, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is developing a sustainable plan to combat fraud in the field of digital payments.

ABC.AZ reports that chairman of the Association of Banks of Azerbaijan Zakir Nuriyev stated about this at the fintech summit held in Baku today.

He added that in order to organize the fight against such cases, it is planned to develop a new action plan during the current year.

"The new action plan will ensure various educational activities. We’ll continue work on the formation of a centralized database, which is one of the most important measures to counter fraudulent transactions, create technical capabilities for promptly and timely informing the Central Bank about fraudulent transactions, and improve the knowledge and skills of employees of payment service providers," Nuriyev added.
