May 1, Fineko/abc.az. CBA’s calculations show that the neutral discount rate is in the range of 6-7%.

ABC.AZ reports, quoting CBA chairman Taleh Kazimov as saying this at a traditional press conference.

"Logically, we are still in the direction of tightening. We are currently moving towards neutralizing the discount rate. Therefore, we believe that the discount rate is neutral at 7%. Currently, the discount rate is 7.25%. This indicates that the Central Bank is still in the direction of tightening," Kazimov said.
