ABC.AZ reports that the matter of depriving Ramin Mammadov of his parliamentary mandate will be considered at the meeting.

By the presidential order from April 8, Mammadov was appointed the chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations.

Ramin Mammadov is an MP of Sabirabad second electoral district #64.

According to part 4 of Article 89 of the Constitution, a member of parliament is deprived of his mandate when holding a position in state bodies.

At the same time, when a deputy refuses, he is deprived of his mandate.

Thus, the CEC, taking into account these grounds, will decide on the termination of Mammadov's parliamentary powers in accordance with the legislation.
