May 1, Fineko/abc.az. There are no problems with the financial condition of Naxçıvan Bank, ABC.AZ quotes Central Bank’s chairman Taleh Kazimov as saying this at a traditional press conference.

He noted that, however, part of the bank's loan portfolio was transferred to another bank.

“There are not so many depositors in Naxçıvan Bank either. The balance is of high quality, there are no problems with financial stability. Part of bank's loan portfolio was sold to Kapital Bank. The decision on bank's activity will be made by the shareholders. The decision of the shareholders will determine whether it will continue its activity as a bank or become an NBCO. But this does not affect the overall financial stability in any way. The number of depositors of the bank is significantly lower than in other banks,” Kazimov said.
