April 30, Fineko/abc.az. As of April 1, 2024, the deposit portfolio of Azerbaijani banks amounted to 34.812 bn manats (262.7 million manats, or 0.8% more than at the end of last year), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank.

13.78 bn manats of deposits were formed in foreign currency.

This figure is 504.2 million manats, or 3.8% more than at the end of last year.

In general, deposits in banks of 9.49 bn manats accounted for the International Bank of Azerbaijan, 6.959 bn manats for PASHA Bank, 6.67 bn manats for Kapital Bank, 2.226 bn manats for Xalq Bank, 1.411 bn manats for Bank Respublika and 1.173 bn manats for Unibank.

As of January 1, 2024, the deposit portfolio in banks amounted to 34.55 million manats, including 13.278 bn manats in foreign currency.
