April 26, Fineko/abc.az. The non-bank credit institutions of Azerbaijan completed the 1st quarter of 2024 with net profit of 32.9 million mantas (2.8-fold more against Q1 of 2023), ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

NBCOs’ revenues for Jan-Mar March 2024 amounted to 78.8 million manats (2.1-fold more than a year ago), expenses - 36.9 million manats (57% more), transfers to special reserves - 1.9 million manats (unchanged), and income tax payments - 7.1 million manats (7.9-fold more).

As of April 1, 2024, NBCOs’ assets amounted to 823.3 million mantas (50.9% more than a year ago). Of them, 585.2 million manats are net loans given to customers. Over Jan-Mar 2024, the sector's loan portfolio has grown by 38.5%.

NBCOs’ liabilities grew by 39.5% up to 461.9 million manats, and the balance sheet capital by 68.6% up to 361.4 million manats.
