April 23, Fineko/abc.az. The draft on the creation of a register of cigarette manufacturers has passed the first reading.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the draft law on amendments to the Law on Tobacco & Tobacco Products.

According to the document, proceedings on registration and re-registration of business entities for import and production of tobacco products are carried out in accord with the Law on Licenses & Permits.

Business entities engaged in the import and production of tobacco products are registered by a body (institution) determined by the relevant executive authority on the basis of an appeal from these entities.

Registered business entities are included in the register, and these entities are issued an extract from the register in e-form or paper form.
