April 8, Fineko/abc.az. In 2023, the number of people accommodated in hotels on all known classifications in Azerbaijan reached 1.8 million people (173,472 people, or 19.1% more versus 2022 – 1.81 million people), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Tourism Agency.

Of the annual figure, 935,836 people are in hotels in Baku (21.9% or 168,189 people more than one year ago).

Last year, the number of people accommodated in hotels in Karabakh reached 2,914 people (173 people, or 6.3% more than a year earlier).

Over the reported term, 2,977 people were accommodated in hotels in Nakhchivan, or by 30.8% less - 4,711 people.
