March 29, Fineko/abc.az. In February 2024, the loan portfolio of the Azerbaijani banking sector increased by 1.1%, or by 266.7 million manats, up to 23.833 bn mantas, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the statistical bulletin of the Central Bank.

54.8% or 13.063 bn manats of the loan portfolio were business loans, 29.7% or 7.077 bn manats - consumer loans, and 15.5% or 3.692 bn manats - mortgage loans.

During the month, business loans, consumer and mortgage loans increased by 150.8 million manats (+1.2%), 69.3 million manats (+1%) and 46.5 million manats (+1.3%), respectively.
