March 29, Fineko/abc.az. Last year, as a result of the excess of exports of tourist services ($1.5 bn) over imports ($1.1 bn), surplus (balance) of $342 million generated.

ABC.AZ informs that the data is reflected in Central Bank's balance of payments report.

During this period, the number of Azerbaijani citizens traveling abroad grew by 25.5%, and the number of foreign citizens arriving in Azerbaijan by 30.2%.

The volume of services rendered to residents of Azerbaijan by foreign countries in connection with tourism reached $1.1 bn. Of them, 75.2% related to personal visits by Azerbaijani citizens.
