March 18, Fineko/abc.az. In February 2024, the tax authorities received a total of 32,459 applications (2.1% less against February 2023). Of the applications, 95.9% were petitions, and the rest - suggestions and complaints. The execution of 13 appeals has been taken under control.
Consideration of 79.4% of applications was finished in February, and 20.6% are currently under execution, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Tax Service.
Of the reviewed appeals, 69.2% were resolved, and legislative measures were taken on the rest. More than 28 complaints received were of the same or repeated nature. The actual number of complaints decreased by 27.2% compared with February 2023. Most of the complaints considered concerned in-house tax audits, taxpayer registration of a risky taxpayer, personal accounts, social insurance payments, the lifting of financial sanctions, tax obligations and other issues.
