March 15, Fineko/abc.az. The pricing system for medicines is being improved in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that PM Ali Asadov made thgis statement, when presenting a report on Cabinet Ministers’ activity for 2023 at today’s Milli Majlis plenary session.

He pointed out that important changes were made to the legislation in the field of regulation of pharmaceutical products in accordance with international practice: "The process of state registration of medicines has been simplified and the pricing system improved, e-prescriptions are being introduced," he said.

Asadov noted that the volume of provision of medicines within the framework of compulsory medical insurance is under expansion, appropriate measures are being taken to organize local production.
