Azerbaijan sold about $8 million worth of cigarettes to Georgia last year

March 7, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has dramatically increased exports of domestic cigarettes to Georgia in 2023.

ABC.AZ. reports that Georgia exported 498.33 million cigarettes over the past year. The cost of exported cigarettes reached $7.755 million. In 2022, 52.8 million cigarettes were sold for a total of $492,400.

The total export of cigarettes with a filter reached 1.134 bn cigarettes for $14.285 million.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the total production of the tobacco plant in the country increased by 20% year-on-year and amounted to 16.1 bn cigarettes.
