March 7, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev has amended the decree from February 9, 2009 "On measures to improve the activity of the Ministry of Finance" in connection with the Laws "On combating the legalization of criminally acquired property and the financing of terrorism" and "On targeted financial sanctions".
ABC.AZ reports that the head of state signed a new decree.
Under the decree, within the competence of the Ministry, in accordance with the procedure and cases established by law, the obligation to carry out the functions of a body to control the legalization of funds or other property obtained by criminal means and the financing of terrorism through the relevant structures included in its structure is excluded.
