Interests received by banks on loans in January made public

February 28, Fineko/abc.az. The revenues of Azerbaijani banks from loans in January 2024 have been published.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that in the first month of this year, banks' interest income on loans amounted to 239.7 million mantas (20% more versus January 2023 - 199.9 million manats).

Interest expenses in January totaled 86.4 million manats. These expenses for January 2023 reached 67.2 million manats. Most of the interest expenses accounted for interest expenses on deposits.
