Russia’s exports to Europe drop and to Asia grow

February 12, Fineko/abc.az. Russia's exports to European countries decreased by 68% in 2023, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Federal Customs Service of Russia.

After the recession, Russia's exports to Europe fell to $84.9 billion.

It was noted that Russian imports from Europe also declined by 12.3% to $78.5 billion.

At the same time, Russia’s exports to Asia grew by 5.6% up to $306.6 billion and imports by 29.2% up to $187.5 billion.

Positive dynamics is also observed in the trade of our northern neighbor with African countries. Thus, exports to Africa increased by 42.9% to $21.2 billion and imports by 8.6% up to $3.4 billion.
