February 1, Fineko/abc.az. The State Oil Fund (SOFAZ) sold $417 million in January 2024, ABC.AZ reports with reference to SOFAZ.

Out of $603.8 million in foreign currency at previous currency auctions, only $149.9 million was sold to SOCAR. The rest was observed due to the intervention of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

So, in January, SOFAZ's foreign exchange sales amounted to $267.1 million, or 2.8-fold more.
