January 31, Fineko/abc.az. In accordance with its strategy, Premium Bank has decided to give a loan for 2.5 million manats from angle of business. This can be done if the Central Bank is aware of this loan.

ABC.AZ reports that , this was stated by the chairman of the Central Bank Taleh Kerimov, commenting on loans the bank gives in large volumes with small profit.

"We’ve held discussions with the management of Premium Bank. Appropriate measures have been taken. Reserves are created if necessary. We don't see any problems here. The central bank does not prevent giving of such loans, we simply require banks to disclose the reason. In most cases, banks do not give such loans. We are carefully monitoring this area," he added.
