January 31, Fineko/abc.az. In 2023, foreigners in Azerbaijan carried out transactions for 2.19 bn manats using bank cards.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the January issue of the Expert Review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications.

According to the document, this is 1.8% more than in 2022.

In December 2023, the volume of bank card transactions by foreign citizens in Azerbaijan totaled 202.7 million mantas (6.4% more in annual comparison).
