January 31, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan intends to involve local banks in rendering brokerage services starting from this year.

ABC.AZ reports that CBA chairman Taleh Kazimov said about this at a press conference.

He added that this will contribute to the further expansion of the capital market, given the wide branch network of banks.

"We have many plans, primarily in terms of infrastructure, aimed at making the capital market work efficiently. In addition, we have plans to digitalize the market. At that, work will be carried out to raise the awareness of investors and issuers," Kazimov said.
